Cookie Policy

This page explains how West Chester Flood Cleanup Pros (westchesterfloodcleanup.com) uses cookies and similar browser storage. We keep this honest: we do not invent trackers we are not using.
Short answer
Today the Site mainly uses essential technology to run pages and remember your cookie preference. Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads tags are not active until a real measurement ID is added in site settings. When they are added, this page will list them.
What we use now
| Name / storage | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
wcfc_cookie_consent |
Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or customized cookie preferences so the banner does not keep appearing | Until you clear site data |
| Session / security cookies from our host (Vercel) | Essential | Deliver the site securely over HTTPS and route requests | Session or short-lived |
| Lead form fields | Form data (not a tracker) | Name, phone, ZIP, city you submit | Sent to our lead endpoint; not stored as a marketing cookie |
What we may add later (stubs)
When analytics IDs are configured in site settings:
- Google Analytics 4 — page views and basic usage (anonymized IP where supported)
- Google Ads conversion tags — measure calls or form submits from ads
Those tools set their own cookies. We will not pretend they are live before the IDs are set.
Your choices
- Use Accept on the banner to allow non-essential analytics cookies when they exist
- Use Manage to open this page and keep essential-only preference
- Clear site data in your browser anytime
- Browser settings can block third-party cookies globally
Preference values are stored only on your device. Changing your mind: clear site data for this domain or revisit this page and use the controls in the banner (re-open by clearing wcfc_cookie_consent).
